Indianapolis IN, Evelyn Magley CEO of The Basketball League announced that a new market has been awarded to Kalamazoo MI.
The Team Market Owner is Brian Marais a local entrepreneur and will be called the Kalamazoo Galaxy.

Kalamazoo is located in the south-central part of the state on highway 94 and is a great connecting marjet geographically with the teams in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. It also is closest enough to Canada to play against the NBL Canada teams as well.

TBL is entering its 6th season with teams from coast to coast and Canada. The Galaxy will begin play in March and host several tryouts prior to then.
A media event will be held on October 7th in Kalamazoo.
