We are proud to announce that Portland Storm Professional Basketball Club will be relocating and rebranding. The team will be in Vancouver Washington and will return as The Vancouver Volcanoes! The Vancouver Volcanoes will compete in The Basketball League (TBL) in the Spring of 2022!

President Curtis Hill states “I would like to personally thank Vancouver Volcanoes co-founders Mikal Duilio and Terrence Dickens. I would also send a special thank you for former Volcanoes TMO Bryan Hunter for believing in me to continue the great tradition of the Volcanoes. For me as a former player for the Vancouver Volcanoes this means a ton to me.This is where my professional basketball journey started. If the Volcanoes don’t take a chance on me I don’t fly out here from Newark New Jersey. None of this would exist so I am extremely excited to bring this team back to the city of Vancouver and competing in the TBL.” Former Volcanoes TMO Bryan Hunter states “Running the Volcanoes was one of the best times of my life. I was excited when Curtis approached me about bringing that excitement back to Vancouver.” The Volcanoes won the IBL championship in 2011. The Volcanoes will continue to play their games at O’Connell Sports Center on the campus of Clark College.
